HELP First time mapper (for et and q3 anyways)

:banghead: once i have done the console commands /sv_pure 0 and then tried to load it with \devmap test02 it trys to load it but comes up with a message saying

Map ‘test02’ isn’t a valid campaign starting map. Set your gametype to 2 to load it directly.

since this is my first map for this and i dont quiet know what i am doing yet i would appreciate a link to a tut for the et editor.

i changed it and restarted the game but it still says change gametype to 2???

Don’t worry this really wound me up as well. Setup your ET exe shortcut with the following parameters, it will save you going mad … :wink:

“C:\Enemy Territory\Enemy Territory\ET.exe” +sv_pure 0 +set logfile 1 +set com_hunkmegs 96 +g_gametype 2
