Movement and Aiming!
First off, ya gotta learn the movement in Dirty Bomb or you won’t survive very long at all. Experienced players are always on the lookout for people who stay still while shooting, due to your head being such an easy target. While shooting, make sure you continue strafing left and right but not in one direct movement. As an example, you’d want to move left, then quickly right again. It is your own decision to either back up or rush your opponent depending on your health and the environment around you. Movement is a personal call all players must make for the sake of their own lives, and the art of aiming while moving also helps tremendously. Choose wisely, ladies and gentlemen!
Saving Coins!
Everyone should know about the in game currency in Dirty Bomb due to the huge role it plays for the future. If you do not know about these coins, they are used to buy loadouts and cases for your characters. They are earned through the first three levels of Dirty Bomb, and they are earned at the end of each match along with XP depending on how well you did during the match. After your first three levels of the game, you should have totaled up about 30k (Thirty Thousand) coins, due to the fact that each of the first three levels gives you 10k coins. This is enough to buy your first character, but be careful and research the character. Looks aren’t everything!
Choosing a Character and Playing your Role / Teamwork!
One thing that really get’s on the nerves of other players is when one does not play the role of the character they have selected. By now, you should have achieved your own character that you have chosen with the coins you earned after you leveled up to level 3. Now, all you have to do is learn the proper way of your character. Whether it’s setting up turrets for defense, or chunking nades around the map for crowd control, each character’s abilities help each team win battles if used properly. If these characters are not used properly, you won’t see yourself winning very many matches. Each character is important in their own ways, and they tie into the teamwork of players. Just make sure that you drop ammo and medbags to teammates often so you can keep your team alive and on top. Moving onto teamwork, simply use it. Get a group of friends that you can chat with via mics or simply typing. From personal experience, the more communication the more wins. Each player combines their characters abilities all together to create an ultimate and unstoppable force whenever teamwork occurs. To keep it short for the teamwork segment, just invite your friends!
And…we’re done! That’s the basics of Dirty Bomb and everything you need to need to get started in this amazing creation of a game. Remember, practice is key. You can’t get better if you don’t play the game and get used to the mechanics.
