Hey everyone! I have enjoyed playing as a heavy set guy but very rarely do I see people play as them! I’m not here to advertise my channel but I did want to show a video I made about them!
Anyway, does anyone else enjoy playing as the heavy as much as I do? I think they’re pretty amazing!
P.S. Where can we find out stats on the Brink site? I looked everywhere…
But they are still fun to play. I don’t think they’re useless at all to be honest. It all comes down to opinion though I suppose!

I’m sorry you can’t handle an opinion that is not your own. Also, I did mention I was playing against bots. What a shame you didn’t actually watch the video.
I haven’t seen where you mention you were playing bots, but it would have been nice to know that in your post that you were just bot bashing…
And you’re entitled to your opinion on SMGs, but I prefer a fact-based approach.
The recoil on Xbox however is much smaller than on PC, you cant handle the Maximus for example at all on PC. And recoil and accuracy are the reasons I dont touch Heavy (even if id like to) compared with quite low dmg, a carb-9 is deadlier than any MG in almost any situation.
The health bonus aswell is quite marginal, so its better to just stick on medium.
I play Heavy, usually Engi or Sodja.
I find it works better for me, particularly when we’re on defense.

I find (as a Light) that SMG damage is perfectly fine for the job the guns are meant to do, but the MGs do easily outclass them when used properly - disadvantage to Heavies is that they can’t as effectively control the range they’ll be engaging enemies at most of the time - that means they’re more vunerable to the enemies coming in at THEIR preferred range instead of the Heavy’s, and taking advantage.
