Healthbox orientation held / fired

A little info:
I’ve just discovered that the healthbox orientation changes by 180 ° if fired.

do you get seperate 1st person and 3rd person skins in the .weap file

maby try flip the red mark by 180 to make it less noticable using shaders

The mod is installed in a clean etmain environment.
None of the weap files have been changed.
Only “healthbox.tga” has been altered.
So I guess an asymmetric texture can’t be used.

just rotate the model, how could SD see this with symmetric texture :slight_smile:

Done.
Worked.

But the md3-file is now bigger: ~ 14 KB (original: ~ 2 KB).
Have done it with Milkshape.

One reason it could be a larger file size is if you use the default qc files from Milkshape (generate Quake III qc file) then it sets it up for 30 frames of animation.

Change the two instances of 30 to 1 in the qc file before exporting.

Thanks for the tip.
I only changed the paths to the textures in the qc file.
Haven’t done modelling so far.
Will try it.
