Health Insurance and Fire Support

Trying to figure it out for a while. How do you get the XP from “Health Insureance” and Fire Support".

When a medic gives health or revives (Help Up counts too), the beneficiary of said health will earn Health Insurance XP for the medic for the next ~10 seconds, to the tune of 10% of what they earn.
Fire Support XP works the same way, just replace health with bullets.
I don’t believe either of these work for primary objectives i.e. giving health or ammo to the guy who armed the C4 just before it blows doesn’t give XP for the C4 exploding. I could be wrong on that.

What exactly did you try? When you enter “health insurance” in search box you get a result page. Skip the first few entries and it points to this thread. Magic! B)

Actually its not 10% but 50%. Otherwise someone once got himself 18k exp within 10 seconds after i healed him, that must be some bigshot pro³. :wink:

Fire support exp is actually contributed as fire support is given. :grin:

That means if an allied player fights an enemy and you shoot/hit the surrounding area with explosives (or bullets), you will earn fire support exp. Its not much at all so rather meh.

Isn’t fire Support for given ammo used by a mate and not shooting the surrounding?

@Yoma there’s no way he got 18K, That’s more than I’ve often on a game.
And that’s not how it works, that would just be an assist

I think its 100% total xp no way it can be 10% or 50% when getting 3 digit health insurance isn’t that uncommon and occasionally 4 digit.

You didnt get what i wrote about Healthinsurance. I wrote that i once got 18xx exp health insurance and if its 10% of the exp the guy got as MisterBadmin said, then he would have needed to get 18k exp during that 10 seconds which is impossible.

I prsonally think aswell its more than 50% but didnt test or found written proof of it yet. Neither i do care much about this.

As for fire support, its different thing if you hit an enemy, or if you just shoot e.g. at a position in front of a corner so the enemy cant come around that corner to hit your teammates which atm run there. For the rest, read my first sentence of this post.

Yeah I mean, you give ammo to people before they rush and then they shoot enemies with your ammo there.
You might be right though and I might be wrong.

I highly doubt that but as i said im not sure either, im gonna try testing it once i’m ingame.

PS:Now i can’t get rid of the picture in my head which shows an raging merc (Skyhammer) shooting(yes with a gun) Ammopacks… . Guess i’m just too good at missleading things. :smirk:
