Should deployable items recharge while placed? While a Deployable is placed, specifically the health station the ability continues to recharge allowing it to essentially be ready 100% of the time. This makes destroying a health station have minimal impact on the medic who placed it, and gives the team who destroyed it little time push forward before another one is place. Maybe not for ammo stations or the turret but auras health station is completely game changing as it gives constant healing without a need to recharge in between heals. If an auras health station is destroyed she should not be able to immediately replace it without giving the attacks time to a push.
Reducing the healing stations recharge time to 20 seconds and causing it to only recharge once destroyed or reclaimed would help fix this problem. It would also be necessary to add a button to destroy your healing station if you wanted to place a new one without reclaiming it. Would this make sense or would it be bad like the rest of my ideas(according to the forums).
