Agree, if you die by headshot you cannot be revived.
Or make it take less bullets to kill a downed player.
Or both

Gibbing people takes eitherā¦
A few seconds to run over and melee them, a distraction from the battle thats still going on right around you usually.
An entire clip from your gun, also a distraction from the battleā¦and a waste of much needed ammo if your soldiers arent being team friendly. I see more of them replenishing their own ammo instead of teammates.
A grenade and maybe even a molotov too if there are more than one downed, again a waste of your supplies on enemies that youāve already shot down.
See the problem?
They could at least make it easier to kill after theyāve been downed. Like W:ETā¦it takes like 5 or less bullets.
When I am playing and I see that blue trail: my target switches instantly. As should yours.
Failing that, make more use of grenades to crowd control and to gin the downed guy. A medic canāt revive when he is knocked on his ads, get to tossing molotovs and flashbangs
[QUOTE=darthmob;298963]Itās not the game mechanic that is broken but your style of playing. Shoot medics first and make sure they are gibbed.

Or incapacitate less enemies and spend some time finishing them off.
I havenāt played the game yet so I canāt say how āeasyā headshots are but with decent players there would probably be not much to revive this way.
Unlike only the last bullet has to be a HS but that would be too random.
good old times
I donāt think every headshot should be an instagib but this mechanic seems like it could work in a limited fashion. Maybe make it so only the sniper rifles have this ability. Or maybe have it be a high level operative ability.
Iām going to link to my previous post for this one: http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/showpost.php?p=299335&postcount=13
