Headshot by turret

Today one of bushwhackers turrets killed me REALLY fast, looking it up in the upper right corner I realized it gave me a headshot. I didn’t crouch but the ground might have been a bit uneven.

Did you experience the same, already? Feature or bug? ^^

Obviously a feature… why would it be a bug to get shot in the head randomly :stuck_out_tongue:

happened to me too. I think its just about some particular angles, esp. if turret is above you it might get HS in while aiming at your body

Yeah I got a headshot kill with my turret earlier today when it was placed above the guy it killed. It even gave me this weird “Headshot kill” xp drop that I’ve never seen before.

well i felt a little cheated, I knew the turret was there, but I didn’t know it has an aimbot xD. The turret was not above me at all.

What i meant by its a feature is… If it shoots a bullet then that bullet should do headshot damage if it hits you in the head. It would be kind of lame if only certain bullets were excluded from being able to do bonus damage.
