Head animation problems. I need help!

Hi.
I am making me head to put it into the game and learn to do it good for future proyects.
I can put the head model on any kind of soldier I want (in this case is axis medic), but I can’t get it move like default heads.

please, can someone help me to do this?

I use milkshape 3d to import and export the model… but when I import any model from the game I can’t import the joint, bones, or the “thing” I need to make it move.

Nice work.

The head model has only one tag (viewed in lightray).
And I’m afraid Milkshape isn’t able to im- and export tags.
So a tag-only head model won’t help you.

you need tag to attach helmet stuff
and animations are vertex ones, so you have to do own animations for your own model ( i suggest copying head tag from original head and attaching your head to it, after that just animate mouth and eyes )
sad is that i can’t help you with milkshape…

wich program can I try too?? I try to use gmax to import the md3, but I can’t.

thx!!! finally I understand how can I do it… with gmax and some plugin I can import the file and export it… I tried lightray3d and its works too, but I need licence to export files :stuck_out_tongue: . well, thx… now I am going to sharp my knowledge and start to do it all again but better.
