Hello guys! This is my first post. It seems the steam discussions aren’t read or moderated and I figured this would be a good place to let the devs know my thoughts and opinions. Right now, I have some problems:
1.I play from Kerala in India; and should normally be on the Asian servers. When I started playing, I was on the Asian servers most of the time by default (when organizing lobbies in ping-order) but as of late, especially after the latest update, the lowest ping servers I get are US West or EU instead of Asian ones. Earlier I could get around 60-120 ping on the Asian servers but now its never lower than 250 on any server. ATM I don’t know whether its my ISP but it normally remains dormant on such matters and doesn’t mess with a connection after its granted. So I think if the devs can take a look at the servers, they could help me in ascertaining on whose end the problem is.
2.This wasn’t an issue before the CW update but DB would often take a long time to log in, always freezing on ‘‘refreshing account’’ and then popping up the connection disability box. I work around this by disconnecting reconnecting via console but it seems its disconnecting more and more and requiring more and more reconnections to get into the menu. Also I get randomly disconnected from games after the game and before the next, in the lobby. It normally happens just as the counter is reaching the next match. Its very frustrating and lost me loads of time trying to reconnect to the same match.
3.This login problem also effects any place where the initial login is displayed. Often I’ll get into a running match, then see a bit of the map and the loading screen but when its time to load into the menu, the game freezes and keeps loading on the ‘‘refreshing account’’ screen and disconnects me again.
