CCity is the most unbalanced, P.O.S. map. If the defense didn’t accomplish the ridiculously easy task of spawn camping them/locking them down at the gate, or locking them down at the first corridor, then that team is obviously retarded so of course they’re going to lose.

I thought this was more a poll about the CTF objectives but the last objective on Refuel is repairing the plane controls.
The CTF on refuel can be quite difficult I’ve found but thats because its like Sec Tower where the defense is at the delivery point and not the collection point.

Some objectives are harder than others. I think it makes sense that the final stage on these maps is relatively easy given how difficult the earlier stages can be. I do think that defenses will start to get better at knowing to fall back to the final stage when the bot is obviously going to finish opening the door on Container City. The final stage on refuel is going to be very hard to guard against if the attackers have the right mix of classes.

Definitely not true, tok. There are chokepoints galore along the first escort objective.

About my intention of the poll. I only wanted to see if others happend to see certain things.
My impression was that both last objectives of refuel and CC were very hard to defend. But that I know that many people have certain impressions which are quite wrong… I wanted to find out if Im a victim of this too in this case.

Often you just need to adapt the combat strategy accordingly and things work out quite well. I read so many whine threads about “unbalanced” stuff which is actually just a “learn to play” answer worth. I wanted to see if these were also just cases where new tactics have to be found (which i havent yet and others have (3+ answer)).

Remembering the “aweful” quarry map of QW where it took about a year until GDF knew to defend the cells instead of the ship itself. By then we won a lot of those matches and kicked strogg butt.
