Hate the lag

Just bought the game and i joined some online mathces… and i lag like hell, is this just for me or for any1 else that is playing the multiplayer, cant run this game lagfree but i can run Crysis 2 very smooth with no lagg at all. is this a common problem in the game atm? t

I have only experienced lag once on PC, so I left the server.

All other servers have been fine, 60 hours of play.

Ask other players if they are lagging ingame, if no-one else is, chances are your connection is not that good OR there is something else using your bandwith ie. malware, your antivirus, something DLing or some other problem with your set-up.

lag is relative occuring here as well but thats normal with any online game.

ho shut up, 5 vs 5 and ag ? I’m used to play on 64 players servers without any lag.

change server. some are worse than others. SD implemented a stupid lag meter that doesnt work. give us ping values FFS!

Are you sure its latency lag? and not FPS lag? Because im sorry to say it but this is one of the worst optimized games ive ever played. I can join a 50 ping server and watch as my 6870 barely powers through medium quality rofl… I can run battlefield bad company 2 maxed and it looks better than this game but yet brink runs like ****? Damn its annoying.

I am experiencing lag also and its not my FPS, when I load up the server list, the ping values are quite low and when I hit refresh, the ping jumps up by 50-70. I wasn’t experiencing any lag before the update. And to make sure it wasn’t my connection thats causing the problem, I loaded up another game and the ping values stayed around the same every time I hit refresh.
