Has anyone else noticed that their sensitivity 'feels' higher since last patch?

I’m not insane… seriously. Since this last patch, my mouse sensitivity feels like it’s been moved up a half a step. Before the patch, a full swipe on my mousepad (52 cm I believe) turned my player around 160/170 degrees, but now a full swipe moves my player 190 degrees. This upsetting change that I have (immediately) noticed has really ****ed with my twitch aim (which I mostly do) and has pushed the bounds of my comfort zone for settings; I usually stick to a set of settings and just get used to them. I ask that you just simply observe closely if you feel like your mouse movement ‘feels’ different in any way shape or form.

Thanks!

I felt it too, maybe we’re crazy I duno but I turned my sens down a little since the patch

Wish I could turn my sens down :frowning: I’m already at the bare minimum of 5. Anything below that will induce UE3’s notorious rounding error issues with very low sensitivities. I can, however, raise my fov to lower my overall sensitivity, because this game scales your sensitivity based on your fov (even while scoped (which is at a fixed fov), your sensitivity still changes with fov).

lol I use like 2 sens or something silly like that

elaborate, been using <5, never noticed anything off other than the game having slight input lag (OTL on).

kappa No kappa

This tool has a Dirty Bomb setting: http://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/

If you input your details, it will output the cm/360. This has been accurate in my experience, so if something has changed the tool should now be wrong. Let’s verify!

Also I thought that FOV does not affect sensitivity by default at least, although it would feel different of course. I’ll check it out at the next opportunity.

I had 4 sens until I noticed it ignores a few pixels worth of mouse movement here and there, it was most noticeable by slowly moving my crosshair up and down with a sniper scope.

EDIT: now that I took a look at it again, having sub-5 sens seems to only affect sniper scopes, hipfire and regular iron sights registered the mouse movement just fine.

Yeah I noticed my mouse missing pixels and just plain not working some times.

I have also had 4 or 5 near freezes of the game where I can not move. I also have black and white flickers that take up my entire screen.

But yeah the mouse is very weird.

could be due to the fix we used that we aren’t noticing it. If SD changed that fix to default that might also explain people feeling like their sens is higher due to it being more responsive (just thoughts)

Yea, I’m actually 200% ****ing sure that my sens was raised by maybe 80%. I had to lower my sens by one to compensate and get my flick aim back, but it feels too low.

SD pls fix.

Actually, come to think of it, this could be due to recent changes with the way that settings are saved. I had it in the past where my ingame sensitivity in the menu was 83 but my real sense was 5 due to me setting it via the console on read only and restarting.

Are you certain that you have not actually been a victim of this also?
I keep changing my sense recently so I am unable to confirm if it was recently changed via the game.
