So now Aimee’s confirmed, I wanted to know how many people are happy with her release, and if you’d rather of had turtle or another merc.
Personally I’d rarther have turtle as we need more engineers, though Aimee does look fantastic.
I also understand it wasn’t turtle probably due to balancing difficulties, as that shield looks hard to balance, but that’s just speculation.
While i do think shes better than vassili i would have more chance with using turtle because personally i hate sniping
The rework has instantly put her into my squad assuming she lives up to what we’ve seen previewed. Also look at the FEL-IX card on the Role Call, it has Quick Eye. That’s glorious.
If Turtle was announced there would be an identical poll about Aimee or other mercs. What is this supposed to accomplish? She isn’t even out yet people…
Well…I’d say I’m a bit happier…I’m glad they didn’t make her a pure Sniper…a Vassili copy…may try her with a Grandeur some day.

I didn’t really care, but I was skeptical about Aimee’s ability since they said it was undergoing huge changes a while back but it still appeared that she had a camera. Have to say I’m actually pretty pleased with her ability, but then again after using it my mindset might change haha.
I am pleased to see her have the Grandeur though. I have nothing against snipers I just don’t really like using them in this game, but I do like high powered single shot hipfire rifles, so I’m a huge Redeye/Grandeur fan. My only pickle with Redeye is his pace, I do prefer the smaller faster mercs, so Aimee is sounding pretty hopeful right now if you ask me.
I noticed her Felix loadout displayed on the gold card has quick eye though. That will be lethal. I really hope one of her Grandeur loadouts has quick eye as well. Hugely underestimated augment that one.
No. nononononono. … well, new merc with spotting ability… yup, derping around as Phantom is going to be a nightmare for a while… just because the cloak wasn’t already shit…
im only upset that i will never get to see the 3rd eye in action. but im on the fence about the snitch either its going to have a minor impact or its gonna be over powered either by self or in combination with other mercs abilities. we will find out tomorrow
Just glad we’ve got someone new. I still kind of wanted to see another engi, specifically one with assault rifles (his unique is the the BR-16 right?) but it’s not a big deal.
I personally hope the whole “debilitation” thing isn’t permanent because the roll call implies you have to see a medic before going into combat again which would be really annoying when pubbing in a team with no medics.

I’m not happy with how she’s turned out. According to what I’ve seen, though her ability looks alright, she’ll be using the same weapons as Redeye and Vassili. I was really hoping for her own unique weapon.
At this point, we can only hope for the FELIX to actually gain some sort of advantage over the MOA.
