Handling log files

I start running out of disk space in my root drive and after a bit trial and error landed on some game directories in which DB was one of them. I’m surprised to see 10mb+ sized log/backup txt files :o

So are these actually needed? Is there any way I make the game not save these? Or maybe automatically remove them after a time period or set a different location. Also I use Steam to screenshot the moments in game but the game also does it’s own 3mb+ bitmaps under the same main folder. Can I tell the game to not take a screenie or atleast change path using registry or something?

10mb isn’t exactly a lot… If you start hitting gb of log files then you can start to worry.

Also no, they aren’t ‘needed’ they’re made on the fly for the purpose of being read for debugging purposes later. You can move, delete, whatever, it shouldn’t hurt anything.
