Please give me some reasons that causes this fucking error.
I’m sick of getting stupid errors, it’s slows down the construction of my map and you don’t find the problem. I can’t fix it!
Please help me! :banghead: :banghead:

What’s the EXACT error message, and when does it happen?
Compiling? Playing? First entering the map etc?
The more information you give the more likely it is we can help, and prevent you getting a permenant dent in your forehead from all that wallbanging
That kind of language doesn’t entice me to help. At all.
Don’t forget that errors are our own faults. Lack of knowledge, simple mistakes etc. Rarely it’s a bug so we only have ourselves to blame for getting errors.
As Gerbil said, just crying “Help! I’ve got an error!” won’t help us to help you.

Normally I’d agree, so wanted to second this point. I just happen to be in a good mood today, so you got lucky
It happens with 2 maps when I’m trying to test them. On the first map I’ve worked and i’m still working on it, the second map is new and i get the error when i’m trying to test it for the first time.
This error=>
C_Var: Handle out of range
I really don’t know what to do :banghead:
Well, at least you’ve moved on from your “Cvar_Update: handle out of range” error you had previously
First off, try removing ALL unecessary entities. Leave only script_multiplayer, spawn points, intermission position, and that’s pretty much it.
Remove / rename your script file.
Try that (best to compile without lighting ;)).
Then, if it works, start adding things back in 1 at a time, preferably in order of importance until it stops working.
What the heck is a “C_Var: Handle out of range” error anyways? I’ve never heard of it before.
Me neither, but that’s why all I could suggest was what I did.
If he does a simple box map with bugger all entities and it happens - either his install is screwed or his config has got some rather weird cvars in it
This is the third time you have asked the same question, if you had used search the first time you would have found this:

Ah that lovely bug rears it’s head again
Well spotted Detoeni, I must admit I didn’t pull that thread up since I searched on the fuller error message.
So Mapper X, your solution is to install ET a second time, purely for mapping. Never install new PK3s (apart from official patches) in the mapping copy, and only create your maps there.
