Hand Lamp Model?

(Stealth) #1

Does anyone know if this model exists? See the link for picture.

If anyone would like to contribute to my map by making this model, I have no problem putting their name in the credits. I wish I had money to give. But I’m sure the community would love to have an extra model.

Thank you,

Stealth

Ok, does anyone know of a good model repository then?

Creating this model wouldn’t that hard for you to do.

You could use a basic neon wall lamp as a base.
(which would be in the game I think somewhere)

Excuse the pun, but you really nailed it on the head Nail. LOL

Thank you!

Only problem is it’s about 1600 verts. I’m more interested in 300 verts max. Is there a way to delete verts in Milkshape or Blender?

Try use Q3modeltool “fix crack and gaps” it will optimize the model, but maybe not as you’d like it. Best way to optimize it is doing it yourself. I can do it if ya want.

There are indeed ways. Less vertices = less detail / more edgy. They can be removed in the 3d program Milkshape.

i know its not exact what you search - but maybe helpful

Very helpful community I must say! Thank you for all your suggestions. I ended up making a prefab in Radiant. I know it isn’t the best thing to do but its all I have.

BackSnip3, if you wish to make or optimize the model, I would most, I mean the community would most appreciate it.
