Played 2 games of ranked, one I recall with a player called “DELETED”(or along the lines) which were obviously aimbotting.

Does the anti cheat system even work apart from the occasional “well fuck you random person I kick you out of the game”?

ive not seen a actual hacker in a long time, also i wouldn’t name and shame just report the person if you truly believe it

There is a big difference between high skill level players and cheaters. I have seen enough of noobs, even high level players like level fifty something that keep crying a great player hacker. Would you please record a video or a picture that will prove your personal experience of againsting a “hacker”.

For about 320 hours of gameplay time, from when they replaced to the new anti cheat system, I haven’t met a cheater yet.

You do know what an aimbot was like when the game just released for only few months right?

I hope you can have a picture or video of how that “cheater” wiped out your whole team, or otherwise this is just another pointless thread.

I’m not trying to be salty here. It’s only because I have seen too many people think a great player is a “cheater”.

And please report him if you think he is a cheater. I believe you did it.

Nothing is perfect…and I’d suggest removing that name for it could be considered naming and shaming.

I literally never call anyone a hacker unless I’m 99% certain he is(which is damn near never). And these 2 guys(which were in 2 sequential games may I add) definitely were. If I can show you my match history in someway I can prove it.

Just pointing out aimbots are still a thing.

This is actually not gonna tell ( I can’t tell either) if you are right or wrong since you don’t have a strong enough evidence. Also, you are the only one who actually come up to the forum and open a thread about this since the new anti cheat ( Atleast I haven’t seen this kind of threads for a long time).

However, you might be the first one who really find a hacker with current anti cheat system. Just like what I said, it is hard to tell.

Well, who knows, let’s give it more time, see if more people will talk about the anti cheat system or not.

There’s definitely still ocassional hackers. I’ve kicked the occasional 1 or 2. How many games they last before the anticheat bans them however is another thing. In both occasions they were sublevel 10 and blatant wall/aimbot and I didn’t see them again. Best course of action is to hold tab, mouse1 their name and report for cheating, as well as urging the opposing team to kick them. Posting on the forums with their ign will just get your topic locked as that is against forum code of conduct.

Yes. Hackers still exist. Hackers will ALWAYS exist. The measure of an anti-cheat is how quickly it is dealt with. No anti-cheat will be perfect without an extraordinary amount of invasion into your pc which people are not willing to accept. So anti-cheats are expected to make bricks without straw by the people who they affect the most.

While hackers will always exist, the forums is not a place to report them. I have deleted the content from your post that breaks forum rules. Please respect this forum and only report hackers to a GM through the in game reporting tools or via the ticket system to Nexon Support. This keeps the forum a generally nice place and ensures the people who are able to deal with the hackers receive the report.
