The bigger problem (than hackers) is that hacking or not, the game is such that one player can completely destroy a server. I don’t care how pro you are, if a fps game allows ONE player to go 70/3, while the other 15 players are nowhere near that (ie. the next best might be 25/10), then something is broken with the game. Either it’s the hack detection or it’s something more fundamental to the game itself (being able to modify the graphics beyond reason, unbalanced mercs, or something).
Creating a game where one person (even if they aren’t hacking) can take out all of the opposing team by themselves is NOT a good thing.
Then practically every FPS on this planet is broken. If a pro of any random game would visit a public server, this is exactly what you would get. They would be untouchable.
That is why top players almost never join pubs in other games. But with the small playerbase of the closed beta, this is exactly what is happening right now. If a top player is on the same server as 15 beginners, it will inevitably be a massacre.
This happens a lot right now unfortunately, but will rarely ever happen once the game is released and competitive play really takes off. If anything you will find these players in ranked matchmaking, which will use ranks to separate players by skill.
