Hackers spamming video comments now...

So a YouTube channel is spamming my comments with a link to their hacks… Would a member of Nexon be able to do something about this channel and their videos if i were to PM them the link?

Submit a support request here. They are the people with the power to do something if something is needing done.

I don’t think Nexon can do anything about a youtube account. But if theyre spamming links you might be able to report their channel to youtube?

You should be able to make a copyright strike of such videos and sue their asses to Hell and back.

They wouldn’t be able to help with YT. But they might be able to get info to research accounts associated and alert the AC team of potential new threats.

Well I know companies have the ability to nuke videos from orbit and have them pulled. They can probably do similar with accounts, or at least put in a request that’s taken seriously.

Not much point though, new accounts would be made quickly and no one would use their real account for stuff like that.

I stopped reporting hackers a while ago, it seems pointless, i have run into sooo many of them and now they are spamming Dirty Bomb videos with their hacks… Drastic changes need to be made to the anti cheat or this game might not make it :frowning:

The devs have said they are putting reporting into the game and looking at changes/additions for the AC system. Also, it’s never pointless to report people if they are indeed cheating. But, you have to do your part to make sure they are actually cheating and you aren’t just salty over a loss to a good player (extremely EXTREMELY common). Recording footage or even screenshots helps.

Trust me i take the proper steps in making sure they are cheating… i think i have footage of at least 7 people that are blatantly aimbotting.

I’ve reported around 10 people so far. I’m sure some were false flags and either unbelievably lucky or something. But I gotta have faith they won’t ban those people I guess.

I’ve reported about 8 or 9 myself. Never saw any of them again and in a few of the communications with support I was told they were banned already.

Just remember…every game has cheaters. There is no anti-cheat that can catch everyone at all times. And sometimes they are already caught but still allowed to play so a company can do ban waves as it’s a way to prevent the cheat authors from knowing what was detected. SD is taking action and trying to come up with a better solution for everyone but even the better solution will still see cheaters. It’s like expecting police officers to prevent all crime before it happens. So keep that in mind and you might not get as upset when seeing a cheater. Simply report them or just leave the server if it bothers you and continue enjoying yourself elsewhere.

Just a heads up, there’s a lot of YouTube hacker promotions on Dirty Bomb, so this might not be the only one.

As long as there are no public hacks, the problem isn’t that bad. With free hacks we would see much more of them…

During the process, disable comments ! You can’t let them grab even more cash from their illegal action, and you must not let them make the game even more painful to play than it actually is.

Disable comments as long as necessary. It’s not cool, but you do not have the choice if you want the game to stay “healthy” (or at least make it less spoiled by cheaters than it actually is).

Im not going to remove comments from my videos because of this person, its not fair to my subscribers… i will just keep removing his posts and flagging them.

Hi, i did report 3-4 guys with videos and i don’t think nexon banned any one. I think they are more reactif to DB forum admin and our mascot @MissMurder :slight_smile:
