Hackers are ruining the game.

So far in two days of competitive play about 1 in 3/4 of my matches has 1 or more BLATANT hackers who openly admit they are hacking and don’t give a shit. Of course they have some garbled name with foreign characters so they don’t even have a reportable name. Unless Nexon steps up their hack protection, I see this game going south very quick.

you are pretty unlucky if you have a hacker in 75% of your games.

I saw 5 so far, in 300+ hours of gameplay.

Since the open beta, i saw more and more hackers in the game. The game need a more powerful hack protection !

I said 1 in 3 or 4 of my games. So in about 25 to 33% of my games.

I’m happy for you. I just started playing two days ago and in ranked play so far I’ve now had multiple games with characters with names like __+:":"""!# who go 60-1 and blatantly admit they are hacking and don’t give a shit about it. I’ve yet to see any hacker in casual play though.

I’ve just started this week, and I’ve encountered 3 blatant hackers in quick match. I’m actually turned off of the idea of competitive, due to people I’ve talked to in chat about hackers there.

So, I’ll stay in QM, and dodge them, till Nexon gets a handle of hacking. But, from playing other Nexon games, and shooters in general, it’s never going to be perfect.

The easy solution is an ultimatum: Get hackers under control (extremely hard in F2P game, new accounts are easy to make) or lose all your players when Overwatch comes out.

Fact is, hacking in shooters has been a problem for every single PC shooter ever. Not to sound like a fanboy, but if any company can get ahead of it, it’s Blizzard. They’ve got the money, they’ve got the tech. I’m willing to give Overwatch a try merely for the CHANCE that it’s a shooter with little to no incidents of hacking.

To be fair to Dirty Bomb (and it’s players), I’ve been playing for 35 hours, and I’ve maybe wasted 1 of those in a game vs. hackers. That’s pretty damn good.

WoW has one of the worst cases of botting I’ve ever seen, especially in battlegrounds. I know they previously did a massive ban wave, but it took them 3 expansions to do it. I have little to no faith in Blizzard in regards to hackers, they are far far too slow.
