Today I have witness my first hacking in dirty bomb, aim bot, the game is in closed beta and I feel that this needs to be addressed ASAP, its too early for this game to go down to hackers and nexon need to patch this quickly. Sadly I wasn’t able to get a screen shot of this because he left right after the match and his score went with him as well, please post your hacker sightings below and get this heard by nexon quickly

Have you not seen the other dozen or so discussions about this? Of course Nexon is aware and the thing to do with hacker footage is to send it to their support so they can ban the hacker.

There is nothing to patch, the fight against hackers never ends and it can never be won completely. All you can do is limit the problem, so hopefully you only run into one every once in a while. The reason we’ve seen an increase in hacker activity undoubtedly is related to the alienware key give away, so we are essentially in semi-open beta state now.

A screenshot of a score is not evidence of hacking, btw. You need to spectate them and record the evidence. I have seen scores of 30k+, but I have only seen 1 hacker in game and that was awhile ago.

@Zenity was totally correct when he said that the Devs/Nexon is very aware of potential and existing hacks for this game and they are working to improve their anti-cheat systems. The best thing anybody can do to help them is record the evidence and provide it to Nexon support. Reporting hacker sightings on the forums will not get them banned or exposed.

  1. Record the suspected hacker.
  2. Upload the video to a hosting site such as Youtube(do not publish the video, you can upload as a private link).
  3. Submit the video with a text report of what happened to Nexon Support.

the issue with recording is the game runs like a potato , i get better fps in BF4 on Ultra than i do with DB on full low settings, they need a better anti cheat relying on the community to report isn’t good enough when it falls on death ears (theres video proof posted on these forums of hackers who weeks if not months later are still not banned) xigncode3 is the main culprit its such a lackluster anti cheat it makes punkbuster look good , the only thing its good at is giving false-positives to players who are using anti virus/malware software it dosnt recognise , then when you try and get your ban removed you will be met by ignorance or simply ignored.

anyone tried contacting xigncode? there all asians who speak at the very best basic english and couldnt care less for your problems , honestly i was saddened to see DB using this excuse my words but dogshit anti cheat system but if thats what i have to put up with to play , then so be it.

I have streamed and recorded DB a couple times without any issues and I rarely see low fps/fps drops. Don’t think that is the issue.
