Hack kick?

(virtoc) #1

Hello,

I have been playing DB since March 2015 on the closed beta,

seen a few hackers, played against very good players, enjoyed the game with many friends and met a few dicks.

I reached lvl 29 after almost 400hrs of gaming, played a few competitive games and lets say I really am the average (lets dare to say average +) player. I play for fun and I am a former FTP tribe Wolf:ET player which was really all about fun and team work.

I was playing Chapel tonight as Phantom with a lot of new players and got a lot of kill with katana as attacker. After Eve was half way through the map I got kicked for unsuitable something with the game or whatever.

Could that be a report from other players or is it the new antihack program who kicked me? For some reasons server was very laggy too. Anyway, game kicked me and shuted down.

I am not making big deal of this but in case I was kicked by players, it’s a bit arsh from others to kick somebody just because they suspect him or they dont accept to fight someone better than them… Not even sure somebody speced me, they would have seen me be really average.

Anyway, just to let you know it happened.

Let me know if you think people kicked me, then we might look for an other way to report hackers? If it is the program then I just have one thing to say : https://youtube.com/watch?v=kOb4xxGIkeA

Cheers.

Yeah it’s the genius that is Nexon Gaming Security. The best way to get rid of hackers is to kick honest players then none of them will experience any hackers, didn’t you know?

The problem going on is that Nexon Gaming Security isn’t fully compatible with the game. Sure it works, despite what some might have you believe, but the program is either crashing or timing out which is flagging a false positive. You are not doing anything wrong, so do not fear an immediate ban (assuming you genuinely are not a script kiddie). Hopefully when the Phoenix Update rolls out it’ll fix the anti-cheat.

Ok cool cool, sorry for opening a new post I did not see the one in the announcement part.

I am glad it is a program bug to sort out because I have been playing and going through all the other delays and bugs of the game so I will really don’t mind this one. I would have been dissapointed if players could kick me like that…

Will be looking forward to the next patches, no worry. It’s always a pleasure to play!

And thanks for your answers.

Ps: I think thread can be locked or even swiped out… THX
