Yes please, have it off by default if you like but give us the option, again

I suppose it’s more of a want, than a need

ET:QW had hit beeps for both headshots and non-headshots - using two different tones. I kind of got used to it, but to be honest only really listened for it on long range shots. It does help to highlight lag, since client-side prediction can often smooth over the more obvious lag signs, to an extent. A late-landing shot is a great indication of spikes - however if you’re a class that can lay mines, it could be slightly deceptive  heh

HP bar decreases when anyone shoots them, so isn’t a reliable sign of your own shots landing  XP obviously is, but I think when Brink arrives at the gates of competition land, hitsounds are probably preferable and floating XP might be disabled altogether (along with plenty of other things). I like that idea for pub play too, and I’m not a huge fan of floating text - it reminds me of MMOs

localize the hitsounds so you can import your own (etpro -_-)

Please NO hitsounds.

I hated it in Quake 3: Arena and i hate it now.

If you hit an enemy in Brink your crosshair flashes red, you see his health bar depleting and XP Points flashing up. If you stand close you can even see blood splatters.

What more do you want?
