I’ve been somewhat torn between the Bulpdaun and the Kross for a mid-long range SMG and have been testing the two, and much to my surprise, the Bulpdaun which should in theory be superior to the Kross in everything but equip speed, reload speed and clip size appears to be performing worse at range (less stable, somewhat more spread). This has got me wondering, are the stat bars accurate and I’m just seeing some sort of anomaly or do the weapons perform differently than they indicate (and if so, where can I find accurate information)?
Gun stat bars: are they accurate?
Well we’ve got all the accurate info we can at the Brink Wiki.
Though yes, the stats bars in-game can be a little bit decieving at times.
The general consensus is that it’s best to just try each weapon out for yourself and see what works for you.

The damage bar in game is determined by damage per a second, instead of straight up damage output I believe.
They should add numerical values next to the bar, so it’s easy to clearly tell the difference.
Which is odd consdering it’s not affected by Rapid Fire attachments. Still makes more sense than the alternative though.
Yes, they should.

Yeah it is odd that they didn’t do that, but then again weapons with rapid fire tend to be single shot. Don’t know if that makes a difference.
