Not sure if people have noticed but the sounds on the guns sound muzzled when they shouldn’t be
and people were like ‘well do you want to show off yourself?’ and I would be like ‘no but it sounds uncomfortable whenever I am using a revolver or a desert eagle!’ and I barely use those weapons because it sounds unreasonable (no offence)… and uhh… here is a video link thing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLElXvvnbbE enjoy!
Gun sounds!
I agree, but they still sound a hell of lot better than the GDF guns in QW. They all sounded like youre smacking cardboard boxes together
@mahoganyMonth yes but the secondaries… and some of the smgs… shotguns I am fine with they sound totally fine I like them… with the recoil they have and such I think it’s fine, but the rest of the guns like the revolver… and the deagle…
@mahoganyMonth yea, it should have more bass to the sounds, in order to make it sound… better… like all the guns from far away sound like battlefield and I really like that and appreciate it! But I am curious how the sounds up close become so… what is a good word… ‘used only for far away’?
I played last night for the first time since last wipe, the first thing I noticed was the guns sounded more powerful!! So is better than it was, I was liking the sound. Also liked that there was peeps on!!! And the whole experience was a lot more smooth.
The only thing that upset me was my skillz!!
Not just the guns but the hs/body “dinks” that you can enable dont sit right with me , i’d love more of a crunch sound or a splat if that makes sense.
So I might be wrong on this, but I don’t think so; all weapons are modeled and pun-named on real weapons, and all the sounds you hear, are actually the real life part. Mixed in with a little digital sound magic.
(So the sound of a Sjmüth & Whetsman is the actual sound of a Smith & Wesson.)

Well no, the sounds are nothing like real world firearms.
I actually find gun sounds pretty nice, subtle and actually really “unique” in how many of them sound soft.
I swear it’s a bug, where all the assault rifles and SMGs have a silenced sound. IT’S TERRIBLE. It makes my guns feel weak. At least make the Deagle have a massive sound. Also Deagle seems UP last time I checked, irrelevant stuff.
ok I will look into sounds
(1 day later) so… i am guessing i have a bug or something? cause the Deagle sounds pretty bad still, I even tried it but at a distance it sounds pretty good, but when it’s up close… it’s just bad for some reason :grimace:

dude… have you seen the video that i showed you in the starting discussion?

Everyone has their own tastes, i feel like this game is like an arcade, but with multiplayer, so I kind of like the dinks and the dings. You should hear the hit noises in the game ‘Loadout’
A variety of ‘dink’ sounds would be cool.
My 2c, loud aggressive guns sounds quickly become fatiguing.
