Situation: in a close quarters firefight using the shotgun. I was able to fire 2 shots but I was killed before I was able to fire the 3rd, nevertheless the game plays my 3rd shot sound.
Was using Fletcher (although it might be irrelevant which merc it was) against a merc using a machine gun(?), Skyhammer I think. There was no possibility of having confused the audio, mistakenly thinking the audio from the enemy gun was mine.
No doubt a rare occurrence but reporting it none the less.
