Game is gud but I am pretty sure it will be p2w cuz they havent developed a shop and special ingame currency (real money $$$)

Aren’t those two statements contradicting themselves?

They are indeed, but I believe he is partly right. It is all pretty visible that there will be a lot of microtransactions. These pretty keys, maybe more credits, xp leveling. I dont really care for all this sweets. But i hope you can achieve gameplay changing stuff without paying anything.

I wish you are right. And I think I won’t be the only to remove the game from the computer if the economic system is not right. Recipes for fair free to play are pretty much known now. Generally, people expect to have the same game experience between players who play without putting money and players who put some cash in it. So I really hope real money will be mainly for cosmetic items and eventually xp/loot chances increases. Somebody who play regurlarly (let’s say, more or less 1h per day on average) should be fairly rewarded on gameplay changing drops/unlocks. Real money only gameplay changing items are rarely welcome by players.

You can pretty much be certain that money will hardly determine your efficiency as a player. Even if there are microtransactions for gameplay-related stuff, it will most likely be about fitting your playstyle. SD has said on several occasions they will not make a P2W game out of this. Considering how much aim is relevant to your skill level, and how SD wants this game to be competitive; you really don’t have to worry about this.

Offtopic is still a Forum section.
If u dont like this go to talk to the Admin.

Once upon a time, a game developer called Splash Damage did a free to play game with the whole experience available since the begining. I’m not worried about SD, no. But I’d really be interested to change into a mouse to sneak into SD + Nexon meetings. It’s like putting two opposite definitions of free to play around the same table.

Why so serious? It’s just a forum, not an authenticated deed. Let them have their discussion.
