I just recently noticed that I no longer get any warning signal from any airstrike. And after some testing like running into enemy orbital laser beams, airstrike lines, and artillery spikes, I noticed that I got no warning whatsoever.
Hence, I ran as far away as I could from any action, threw down my own airstrike and listened in the silence. Just before my own airstrike hit, I heard a single muted blib. Not the long ringing I have gotten used to, just a muted blib I cannot even hear next to gun fire.
(Does it use stock windows blibs?)
I’ve noticed no reduced damage because those airstrikes/artillery/lasers are pretty much one hit killers still.
So basically, the Guardian Angel has become a useless augment for me. I am not happy about having useless loadouts. (Especially when you consider the time and potentially monetary investment in getting anything beyond bronze.)
