Guaranteed Event Cards

So I’ve been thinking a lot over the event and I do have to admit, for the two years I’ve been waiting for turtle, this was definately worth it, although I’m a little dissapointed.

I do get that you’re allowing anyone to play this game for free, but the fact that we have to pay money to show that we had even played the game in the first place, is just not appealing, I honestly think that for every event, everyone who DIDN’T get an event card, should get one, honestly. I get that decreases demand, but seriously

For the people that are legit have money problems and have shit luck, this is for you. As someone with no job and not much money, this game really pulls me in, I really love this game and my OCD just MAKES me buy things, because I have to complete my collection, like I get a little itch in my brain if I can’t get something during an event, then never get it ever again.

This is coming from someone that has spent more money than I have hours on this game, yes, I know, i have poor money management. This is also kind of a held back message from veterans of how they’ve been kind of screwed over again and again, just because they’ve played the game a long time, one example of this is the crafting system.

PS. This is a little of track but I just had to put it in here,
I would love to have something to show for the amount of hours I have on a merc, besides a framed screenshot of my profile, maybe some special edition cards for each merc, or a sticker, or a trinket, for competetive points. (probably not cards since that would lower demand, i guess you could make a CASE for each merc) idk just brainstorming

being one of the longest term veterans, I don’t feel I’ve ever been “screwed over” even once so, no, I don’t think people deserve even more free stuff

Getting event skins are needlessly complicated but you do get that Proxy special edition card for 500 hexad things which is next to nothing.

this free game is my most expensive one.
Already over 1000€. >:)

I mean giving people at least one guranteed event card at the end doesn’t really seem unreasonable. I don’t see how it could be harming much.

Rather than simply giving away free stuff, why not make the event simpler and less RNG-based? Everyone’s been asking for it. The amount of boosters you need to actually receive a guaranteed case is ridiculous and 300 Hex for one 1% case is also ridiculous. The Containment War and What The Dickens events were better. I’d much rather spend 1000 credits per case. The conversion rate for credits to Hex is insane (1 credit=.0325 Hex). It should be 1:1 instead. I wasted 800k credits on only 26k Hex (originally thinking we’d only need 10 boosters for a 100% case drop- at the time I didn’t think SD could make these events any more absurd).

With silver/gold cards also being somewhat worthless in crafting, Elite cases aren’t much of an option either. Added onto that, there’s the Turtle Obsidian only available in the bundle rather than separately from Turtle.

In my opinion, this just isn’t the right way to go about it to make money. These events should be more fun and not just force people to pay tons of money to actually receive a damn skin.

Just my opinion though, doesn’t count for shit.

I’d be happy if I could buy an event case with 1000 hexads…this booster thing was very controversial on ReV event, still is now.

Yeah…like I said in other threads…it’s like they looked at ReV and said “How can we make it even harder on the players?” Least back in ReV you only had to deal with 4 mercs and famr what merc you wanted a case for…now it’s just a complete random mixup and Turtle is added in.

You will get at least 2 event cards without spending a single cent if you just play daily.

There’s already too many free items in this game. I honestly hope they remove the free gold Skyhammer/Aura card as well and replace it with a bronze for each

True, they could have made it a Log in Event also but i guess there was enough content hype already for them to not need to add that feature.

I don’t see any harm in that. You get it once and only once. Also it gives new players something shiny they might want to add more of - by playing the game. Which seems like a good thing to me.
