GtkRadiant 1.5.0 & NetRadiant: Broken Shortcuts

(Mateos) #1

Hello,

I have a bad issue with both GtkRadiant 1.5.0 and NetRadiant: the keyboard shortcuts are broken. SHIFT + Click works, but hitting numbers does not change the grid size, I can’t select func_groups… Seems SHIFT + Number change the grid size, but for func_group I haven’t found a workaround :confused:

Is it possible to fix the shortcuts?

Thanks in advance,

Mateos.

PS: NetRadiant moves my entities and I can’t find some ones, is there a way to “reset” to the current position the “origin” value of the entities?

So after some searching:
Gtk 1.4 -> CTRL + ALT + Left Mouse.
Gtk 1.5 -> CTRL + ALT + E.

It is still said that only hitting numbers should work in 1.5. Not info about Net Radiant.

off topic : Is NetRadiant any good ? and were do you download it from ? .

Also found ZeroRadiant 1.6 but not no tryed it ?? http://robotrenegade.com/radiant/downloads.html

I always used Gtk 1.5

All my searches results:

  • NetRadiant is based on Gtk 1.5.0 and adds some good things; Still in dev; Tested, it moves entities, maybe because of their origin values not right?
  • ZeroRadiant is based on Gtk 1.4.0 and adds some good things; Also called Gtk 1.6.0; Dev stopped?

I have a working NetRadiant but can’t get ZeroRadiant toi work.

Ah, Google seems to have find something for ZeroRad:

Will test :slight_smile:

Edit:
It needs to add a pack for ET, looks really different. ZeroRadiant/installs/ folder have the games folders. As it is a download link from UT there’s the UT pack, needs a ET pack, and maybe RtCW pack as well… Will look into it, if anybody have not done it yet?

Edit 2:
Current builds, I tested here and no one worked:

Edit 3:
Start it, select “Quake III Arena and mods”, then I had ET… I will try to fix the fact it can’t find my shaderlist.txt

Edit 4:
Starts no more \o/ I give up with this one. I has an interesting interface.

Edit 5:
What is this?

Well I will work with Gtk 1.5 seams to fine on my win 7 64 bit OS and I am very happy using it .

Hope fully ether NetRadiant or ZeroRadiant will come though to the top though it looks more likely NetRadiant will be more new newest for ET
