GTKradaint 1.5 HELP PLEASE!!!

O so i got the new GTK radaint and i want to edit a map like goldrush or fualdump (etc) but i have no idear how to load them maps? can anyone tell me how to please step by step please i really need help:D

start there, if you can’t even open a map then you won’t be able to edit the official maps properly.

i know how to edit but when i look for the maps you cant seee the files

go to §references and check your path is setup correctly
also the map sources have to be downloaded, they are not in pak0.pk3, only goldrush I think?
even so if they are in pak0 they have to be unpacked to etmain/maps/

huh? lol the prefances are right but i didnt get what ya ment when ya said pak0.pk3 so please explaine what that means :stuck_out_tongue:

pak0.pk3 is the main pk3(zip format) for the game, its found in: INSTALLDIR/etmain

Rename it to zip or open it with a pk3 compatible opener, like packscape, but use a copy becuz messing with it might screw your installation :slight_smile:

lol i stil didnt get some of it but i copyed it, renamed my map and made it a zip but still would not find my map?? i wanner edit

and you actually already downloaded the .map file (source map file) from one of the maps you want to edit ?

huh lol? i tryed makeing a copy of the map and saved it as a MAP file but that did not work

and learn, than you understand.

anyway, you need the source map files from the stock maps.

iv been on that site it dosent tell you how to edit them maps, or what type of file (etc)
