Gtk Radiant problem

My friend wanted to try mapping, so he made a fresh install of ET, then downloaded the latest nightly of 1.5.0 and installed that.
He then directed it to the right ET, but this is his problem:

get radiant 1.4

Dudes, with radiant 1.5 is NOTHING wrong! Just make sure to have your drivers updated. And with the newest 1.5 version make sure you have python installed.

i think the problem is vista or an to old pc for gtkradiant.

its a new pc :stuck_out_tongue: so might be vista, and what is python

and if 1.4.0 is the solution does that work on everything?
