GTK error

(niko) #1

i need some help with this error message

Backwards Tree Volume

can some one tell me what would cause this error when compiling the map

and how i can fix this…

(Shallow) #2

The compiler cannot determine what is supposed to be inside and outside the hull of your map, usually because the map contains no structural brushes, only patches and/or detail brushes. The ‘inside’ of your map needs to be defined a continuous watertight hull made of structural brushes.

(niko) #3

structural brushes would be brushes i would of created off of the grid?

i made this room i did other rooms and have not had problems.

i put a “roof” floor and 4 walls

and another brush on the bottom

everything should be ok…i would think…

but it does not appear so.

does radiant show you the leak? press shift + ctrl + K to let it find leaks…

(niko) #5

with a leak, wouldn’t there be a red line indicating where the leak is?

(MuffinMan) #6

yes it would - did you already try other compile options?

(niko) #7

yeah :frowning:

no leak lines anywhere…

(Shallow) #8

Do you have any entities (spawnpoints, lights) in your map?
