I’m neo, and im not afarid to say that looking at the screen while it downloads a 100mbs mod, and im just getting angry, and reallly impatience.
I want to play with my friends et without making them download all our clan mods, yes they are really cool and i like them very much, but why my friends need to suffer from it?!
or maybe your fps is low and you want to boost it up a bit?!

We both share the same server at the same time, we both can play on more than one different mod, we both, enjoying it without any bugs, or lag, or low fps ever.
The et playing behavior is being changed, downloading files before getting into the server counts has a history now.
We’ve made a very smart acting server, which have even smarter settings, this server will provide you the perfect solution of sharing a server with your total own settings and mods.
you can see the new way of playing et by 3 groups:
Group #1:
No mods at all, once you log in the server you will see a look of an etpub server, guests will join instantly, just like you, without the need to download anything.
Group #2:
Bug fixes mods only, your double jump will be fixed, some moving bugs will be removed, and you will enjoy a smoother game.
Group #3:
Mods, mods and again mods, you love ET skin packs? maybe new guns? or even 300 new more sounds in your vsays menu, then this is the group that you belong.
As i mentioned before, all the types of groups of people can play together at the same time in the server, some have lots of mods, and some have a bit, or even none.
To have the mods you want in the server you need to self download them, by your own, at anytime, from our file hoster, for free, or even put your own costum mods if you want to.
they all should be placed in your gsmod/ folder.
the files in the file hoster will be divided into 2 type of groups:
They all have
GS…Package…pk3
in their name
1)thos who have
GS_MOD_Package…pk3
in their name, are costum made mods, like skins,like vsays,like weapons,like music,like pictures and like textures files which were packed into pk3 files just for you
2)those who have
GS_BASE_Package…pk3
in their name, are basically bug fixes, and game smoothers, they are used to align your connections with the server.

Remember, only “GS…Package…pk3” will fit 120% to the server, others might fit 60% or less.
one more thing, after each Package there is the name of the mod and then its release date, you must have only the l8est mod placed in your gsmod folder, otherwise the packages will collision with each other which will cause you low fps, and lags.

_GS_ZZZZ_Package_YYYY_VX-X-X.pk3.pk3
GS means this is a mod that was made in the GS clan
ZZZZ gives you the type of the pk3 Mods(add ons)\Base(game smoothers)
Package ensures you the Add-On-Packer server supports the file 120%ly
YYYY means the name of the mod
V and X-X-X gives you the version( release date ) of the file,
NOTE: only the l8est version of YYYY should be in your gsmod folder.
thats it, your ready to add your mods. remember, mods that were sticked to your etmain folder from other servers might show up, if you hit any “ERRORS” or “WARNINGS” please pm me them, and i’ll do the best to boost your settings and gameplay, trust me, it will do you & us only good.

Are you saying you can join the server and load a Mod and only you will see it and it only affects you?

theoretically, yes, but there are some corners that you cannot round, like making triple jump or getting into a tank, which is still under consideration, i just need much more time than i have to work on it, to open up possibilties and to create a potential on the server

These packs, are the gonna make a unfair advantage to those who have the mod over those who hasn’t (More powerfull weapons larger hitboxes and stuff like that)
Or is it only graphical changes and optimizing…

its the latter option of course, we are against any unfair advantage in the game, and the mods will basically replace things you see, the dmg and other deeper config settings can be found in a small fully locked safe made of steel hidden inside the server’s files,
