Which was never the case in actual gameplay since every medic boosted the teams health level, TTK was not low when running around as medic with 140 health with constant regen.

Correct, I forgot the medics increased the health and if you include that it’s still only 3 HS with guns that are more accurate than current.You can argue as much as you want any RtCW player will tell you the TTKs were much faster, the game was more fun and exciting, and their was still a high skill ceiling.

Any RTCW player? I was one and i’m saying otherwise. DBs guns with this patch are much more accurate, RTCW had alot of spread.

You must have started after shrub mod became all the rage than. The only times the spread went crazy in RtCW is if you jumped and went full auto. Crouching and firing was close to 100%.with a steady fire rate. You can disagree all you want but the math is accurate and that’s all that matters. The fire rate was higher, the damage was higher, and accuracy was higher. Even with an extra 40 hp, that’s 3 head 6 body (with a higher RoF + ACC) which beats 4/8 + 1 if vs sold.

Once hit reg and hit boxes are fixed things may feel better. Screen rape and off models are making the shooting harder than what it needs to be atm.

Didn’t even have shrub mod servers in my region, we just had OSP in comp. For spread infact, just go load up RTCW right now as i actually did.

Also you have the math wrong, mp40 was 14 damage on bodyshot thompson did 18 So not only are those TTKs calculated without taking into account accurate health pools the bodyshot damage numbers are way off.

I’d still argue RTCW was deadlier than DB, but I think there are some other factors which come into play here. I’m pretty sure RTCW’s SMGs had a higher ROF, contributing to a shorter TTK, even if it wasn’t twice as short, but also the guns had a “meatier” sound, RTCW’s MP40 was “BANG BANG BANG”, DB’s SMG is “pew — pew”.

However the F/Ops gun is pretty good in DB, a much more RTCW feel to it. I wouldn’t mind sound better sound effects though.

+1, We can kill more than 2 people with a clip and I think that the weapon damages are well balanced at the moment.

The only thing that should be changed imo is the grenade radius which is too weak for me.

Furthermore, it’s gonna be a comp game so you should not rush 2/3/4 people alone. It’s will be better to rush with your team mates (it increases the teamplay instead of having rushing medic rambo that kill everyone), the job of the medic in this game will be increased by helping the engi and the FOPS to do some crossfire and REVIVE HIS TEAM MATES as often as they need. Not like in some games where the medic is only here to have the “best damages” and the “most kill”
Nevertheless if you are not medic, you can do 2 or 3 kill with a clip with their weapon

Personally, I dont get the feel for the Medic SMG. Then Engi gun and the FOPS gun are much better in this way. I really love the FOPS gun right now but the Medic SMG is a mystery for me. But as I stated, it is propably a prob on my side.

Yeah, the grenade damage is a bit too low and too concentrated. There should be more splashdamage. But the physics of the grenade are much better since the last patch.

What’s the fun with that, I have to ask? If everything was higher, why not going to play CoD or BF then? They have this kind of gameplay.
You must understand that slightly lower everything in DB is an improvement to RTCW, not a nerf. Noone said no game can reach more perfection than RTCW did. Just use your imagination, be reasonable :slight_smile:
