Grenade.weap Flash Sounds

when looking at grenade.weap in weapons folder I began o wonder

can I make more than 4 flash sounds when grenade is thrown?

I want 1 new one for allies and 1 new one for axis

can someone help?

My main problem is extra throw sounds only work for Axis

I’d also like to know how to have multiple reload sounds

IIRC the number of sounds is determined in the binaries.
They read the .weap files and fill all “sound slots” if I may call it like that. I should take a closer look, but I believe you’d just need to increase the amount of flash sounds the weapon uses in game code.
There is probably a limit though.

besides the fact that the extra sounds only work for axis

I’m ok

I need 1 and 2 for allies

3 and 4 for axis

You have only changed the axis file.

For axis the file is grenade.weap

For allies the file is pineapple.weap

Change both files and you should be good to go.
