I just finished my second level 20 char today, and out of interest tried the COGA, because i used the Greeneye all the time, i assumed it would be the same, OH NOES!

More zoom, and the scope takes up the screen unlike the Greeneye, the Greeneye is a COGA+Red dot blend, i was complaining about how low the Zoom i could get, because i assumed the COGA would be the same, This fooled me, it served me steak and humble pie. People with Greeneye that have not tried the COGA, it is NOT the same, feel like a fool.

GAME are still selling the limited edition. Go and get it! its very nice, better than the red dot, and just has a DOT in the middle, not waves around it.

When i compared the two, the COGA had a larger perceived zoom because it fills the whole screen, but it seemed like the scope made things the same size on the screen.

Its a little unfair that the greeneye is part of a special edition pack. I have it though, the only one they had in the store when I went to buy it.

I don’t like the COGA because of the lag between mouse movement and crosshair position. It takes a while for the crosshair to line up with the center of your screen. I can imagine it’s good for people who camp a lot and aren’t so good at tracking though.

Yeah, the greeneye is by far superior to the COGA. It is a shame when a DLC-only item provides an advantage and in this case it does.

I like the COGA better, personally. Can’t say why exactly, but I seem to do better with it than I do with the Greeneye. I think the clearer field of view is probably what does it for me.

I agree. The Greeneye is the only scope I use, and it’s better than all the other scopes.

I use the Greeneye on almost all my guns. I use the COGA for long rifles, though, and Adjusted Iron Sights for guns with too much recoil for a scope.

I don’t think I’ve used it yet, I use the red dot. I will have to give it a shot.

I also got the pack without buying any special edition, my game from Wal~Mart had the spec ops card in the case, without pre-ordering. The only thing I think I’ve used out of it was the hockler, and I didn’t like it.

I think I literally have it on every single weapon I can except for the Barnett (Snoop-R) and Mossington (adjusted IS). I just prefer optics over iron sights in general, and it has basically no equip delay. Also has a bit of zoom for the weapons where that matters.

I have this scope as well and it is much better than the COGA. The greeneye provides the same zoom but without losing all your peripheral vision. Also, it has very little impact on equip speed. Honestly, it’s probably the best scope in the game, which is a little overpowered for a pre-order item. Then again, doesn’t the Fallout pre-order pack let you carry two CARB-9’s?

i use dual bulpds from mah DOOM pack
