Greece textures request

Hi, i searched a few days for some textures of greece, this is a little peace of how i want my map, not exactly the same. It could bring some interresting fights:

I’m searching for some ground textures and the ones like the pillars and roof. If someone can offer me some, i’ll be very happy and email him the first beta version as soon as it’s done :wink: . It probably will take a while, since i want to add much detail

I might be able to get textures for the columns, do you want doric, ionic, or corinthian columns, or do you want all three?

There are some ‘texture challenges’ going on over www.map-center.com and a recent challenge has been the create a ‘medaterrian-style’ texture set. Some really nice wall, door, window, column, etc. etc. textures have been created.

I did some generic column textures for a egyptian texture pack. Its only downside was that it was hand drawn and not photo sourced. :frowning:

woot, thx sock, il be happy to get as many as i need, besides, maybe anyone else also wants to use it :wink: . I’ll put sock’s name / textures in the readme

hmm, i cant download the ones from sock cause i dont pay fileplanet :frowning: . Someone else has a link to it?

Its very simple, just login with any FP account. Here’s one:

E-mail: qmap@qmap
Password: qmap

Then select from the public servers at the bottom of the list of servers. The list can take some time to build, just don’t give up so easily.

someone else has some other textures? Like the one on the roof, the /\ thing above the pillars. (You mean these things with colums?)

Heh, look what I just found. Using PSP or PS you could take out any of these!
