Great game - just one thought

It is almost as I expected - a little too casual but still one of the most entertaining games I played during the last year.

I don’t have any technical issues but I think one thing is very uncommon for an SD game: Being forced to play against bots! I buy all these MP-only-titles because I don’t like to play against AI. I want real human competition! Why all these game-modes and the total absence of a really good server browser like in QW where there are dedicated servers as we know them from earlier games?? Just connect, choose fraction / class and go! Without bots ofc! Maybe in 3- or 6-map campaigns.

I played the whole evening now and I was once(!!) in a match (lasted exactly one round) where there were no bots. Somehow frustrating.

I didn’t loose hope yet, that a real humans-only multiplayer part will be patched at least for PC and I think apart from fixing known issues, this is one of the most important ones.

I assume you are playing from a console based on that, as on the PC it’s there, and you can choose your faction as long as it keeps the teams even (I think it forces even teams anyway)

I agree with this is pretty rare a game or server that does not have bots in the map begining… players will prefer to play 5 vs 5 or 6 vs 6 rather then 10 humans and 8 bots all mixed up, whats the point of playng multiplayer to play with bots…

I’m on PC and NO it is NOT there. I know my options but the server browser is not so good and I’m always put into matches where some to most of the players are bots. Why fill up empty slots with bots?? I don’t get it!

I’ve only played on one server that’s had bots. Even the ones I’ve joined that only had 2 or 3 players on it at the time, I just joined and waited for more people to join up. Maybe I’m the exception when it comes to that.

Do you have friends on your steam account that also play the game, as that may help find better servers. I have about 30 friends who all play Brink and sometimes I will join the servers they are on unless they’re full. Maybe you could try that.
