Granades, what do you think of them?

(Feley) #1

Well I really want community’s opinion on nades in game (all kind of nades, from Nader to Proxy, or even airstrike abillities)

Edit: Ok, I hit enter and tought it would give another poll question… :frowning:
(there should have been also “Buff spamness”, “buff both” and “something else (comment)”

I think some could use a small nerf. Maybe the radius of Fraggers Nade (a bit but not much and the damage is ok). But since I don’t use Fragger, I’m probably not the one who has the best perspective on him as a merc and his abilities. So I could be totally wrong.

So I think it depends from merc to merc if you ask me.

they need to be less spammy on fletcher, hell buff the piss out of their damage/blast zone if they get a 15 second cd

They’are fine as it is. The only problem is the Martyrdom, is not because it’s overpowered, actually, it’s really hard to kill a experienced player with it, the real problem is that some genius like to use it near team mates on Competitive and… well, we have friendly fire now…
I don’t think that Martyrdom should even exist, Nader’s Grenade Launcher is great already, and her primaries too. Also, I don’t fell that is right to reward a player by dying, even if it’s a bad reward.

just leave it alone ffs

It encourages actually playing a tank, and not camping like a lil’ bitch.

Nerf mines. Or fix their explosive area to a hemisphere from a stupid cylinder.

(prominentBolt) #8

everythings fine but thunder could need a small buff

Most of them are okay, with exeption of stickies. They have way too short cooldown, you can play a match and don’t use your firearms even once.

I have 2 problems 1 is nader should have 6 nades in the launcher and thunders own flash nade shouldnt effect him as long as it effects others he should get a well needed split second advantage over the oponents he has flashed other than that I think the naded are pretty much fair and fun to play with

Fragger Nades - Fine, absolutely fine, 1 nade for 15 seconds, which means you have to be good with them to be effective.

Nader Nades - A bit spammy to some people but considering her role I think it’s fine.

Fletcher Stickies - this is the merc I do have a problem with, the amount of times I get killed purely by stickies is absurd, and it’s worse in comp. A cooldown nerf would be nice, and maybe a max of two, but idk, the second nerf might be a bit much. I just feel like he’s too spammy as is.

Proxy - same sort of deal honestly, there’s no punishment to proxy for her nades being blown up by enemies and there’s no other way to deal with them. It’d be nice if mines were triggered based on speed, so you can crouch walk past them or disarm them. But that’s as far as I’d go for nerfing them.

Molotov - it REALLY needs an arm time, way too often I come across Stoker’s who panic throw their molotov and it gets really frustrating since there’s no way to get away from it. A 0.5 second arm time is all it’d need, just a half second to back away a bit so you aren’t killed by some rookie Stoker who saves them for moments like that.

Thunder - Really needs a buff, I say scrap the flash bang aspects but work on the concussion effect, the messed up vision etc. Have it disorient people more and more the closer they are to the nade. Maybe even have the first person models actually put their hands in front of their face like the world models do.
