I’ve noticed alot of graffiti on the walls of each map. Most of it is in some other language. Anyone have any idea what it says or at least what language it is?

I remember reading in an interview Splash Damage went around the team, asking people for phrases from their language. They’re probably different languages, both from that and the multicultural nature of the Ark.

What you can do is use google translate to figure some stuff out.
On one wall it said - Founders Liars in italian in that class video.

i did one on the wall behind the soldier and came out with “founders lie to us” in French

iI tried to do the red grafiti in the background of this one but i got this

paint, blood and machineguns, it dosen’t have a hidden meaning.

Where do you get that from? do you speak french? if so, why does google translate fail so horribly then?

Google translate does often fail. I tried to translate a sentence of japanese in my homework last night and it came out as. What time do you sit on a small dwarf.

It’s not French, it is Romanian.

is not french … and Google translate word by word, so the meaning is “Lost in translation” :smiley:
what they wanted to say was something like: “With guns we will pain in blood” or “Painted in blood by guns” or “Guns paint with/in blood”, something like that.

Just did it and it worked wow … Google needs to step their game up :confused:

    Go for trailers then, you will find more i’m sure… it will be nice if SD will release a video in which they explain the inspiration, what they cut from the map/level and the hidden gems scattered throughout the island.

that thing with paint , blood and machine guns (which was a common grafitti during the revolution of '89 in Romania , when the communist regime was put to an end) was not the only Romanian grafitti that can be found in Brink
