Gotlung minigun zoom

Why does it have to zoom in at the same time when keeping the barrel spinning? This is rather annoying as the MG is supposed to be some kind of a close quarter weapon. When someone gets close enough I am easily confused where did he go when using the Gotlung, which also pretty much sux in damage too, so it requires me to track the target dead close.

How does the zoom actually even make any sense? Spinning up minigun and the characters eyes somehow pop-out from his head?

Zoom is fine with Chinzor but not with Gotlung.
What did they even think when adding this zoom feature and why cant we attach adjusted iron sights for it?

Minigun also needs a buff desperately, aswell the heavy bodytype itself too (too weak and slow).

FOV is effective focus, not actual range in which you can see things.

I was using the Gotlung on my 2nd character the other day, and it seemed to be pretty damn effective when it came to doing damage :slight_smile: Admittedly I was defending the first objective on CCity, so had a reasonably small area of focus - but I was certainly ripping through the crowds. I’m no expert with the heavy weapons, but based on that bit of experience, I’d say a buff would unbalance things somewhat.

It isnt just fov that changes, it actually does zoom in like chinzor. And why is a tunnel vision anyhow better when shooting with the minigun?
