Got alittle excited and clicked too fast xD

Pretty much that ^ I activated my beta key on the Nexon Launcher and it put the game in my library but um…I got alittle excited and clicked through the instruction on how to download it xD I haven’t played any Nexon game for awhile and its new launcher is a wierd setup for me. Could someone help me pL0x? (>^^)>

What you are to do is get the key from the email they sent you and use it in steam. Copy the code included in the email and paste it into the steam activation slot that is made available to you after clicking “Add a game” at the bottom left corner of the steam window > “Activate a product on Steam”. Ah okay, thanks dude! =) It’s activating the key now, so once that’s done and the game is done downloading I’ll see ya in game. All aboard the Dirty Express! Choo-choo!

Actually it said the key was invalid. It took longer because Steam was experiencing “heavy load” like it usually does…some people on the Steam forums are saying that they’re still moving stuff over to Steam, but from what I’m also reading they should be done by now. I should also mention someone gave me this key since they had extra, wasn’t given it by Nexon xD

Were you capable of downloading and installing at all or were you halted even before those processes? And perhaps the key provided to you buy your friend was invalid.

I wasn’t able to do anything, it just says the key was invalid. It might have been just for Nexon because it did work for the Nexon Launcher, but not on Steam…

Ensure that your friend is not giving you a key from way back when this game was just starting out on the launcher. They have handed out a brand new batch of keys. It’s strange that your friend was capable of providing you with a key considering that the currently distributed keys do not come with a surplus for your companions. Only one for yourself.

Someone on the Dirty Bomb Steam forums gave out two keys since he didn’t have any friends who were interested and I managed to pluck one up. I’ll ask him if it’s an old one.

Edit: He’s offline so I guess I won’t find out if they were old and the other person who got the other code is also offline. I think I’ll wait until they’re done with the Steam migration and see what happens.

Edit Number 2: O okay I found out what was wrong. I haven’t used Nexon in so long the launcher, although the new one, was the old version xD I downloaded the new launcher version (of the new launcher version? Idk…) and Dirty Bomb is installing now. Thanks for your help man!

game is no longer on the Nexon launcher, it must be activated through Steam and launched through Steam

Ah okay. Well it finished downloading and told me that too so now to wait for a Steam key xD oh well, one step closer ^^

you might be able to move game files to appropriate folder to save downloading when your key comes

True, true. I’ll be sure to look in to that when the time comes. Until then I’ll have to watch some more streams and gameplay vids to tide me over. xD
