I am canceling internet connection. Now not playing games and not mapping and modeling.
More important things in life

Nice play of enemy territory and better realistics and funny map ( there is possible to make maps better - examples - maps from mrfin, Praetoria by Diego, Tiger and tankbuster by 2BIT and more)

PS: dont forget to visit this forum I created for me and for all who want to present or discusse his work on enemy territory and other games. This site is containing good links on free modeling and mapping tools as well also links on tutorials. Anyone of you can use this site as own for showing your work on Enemy territory and ET Quake Wars http://3dnow.informe.com/index.php

And here link from my home site http://www.kic.ic.cz/links.htm

Hey Kic.

Sorry to see you go. Your sit was kinda good for beginners, because it had some really good beginner-sites on it.

I hope you will return someday, and finish unfinished work.

Have fun and go on with your life.

Always hate to see someone succum to failure. Anyone starting a map should be prepared to fail immediately. But that shouldn’t get you down. I’ve been working on a certain map for almost 3 years. I can’t endure the punishment of public scrutinization, so test after test is excused. That’s why we’re all here, to evaluate other’s accomplishments and failures. So we can go on to create more better and beautiful maps.

If lack of interest is getting you down, just wait until ET:QW comes out, with a minimum 50+Mb dl just to test a map… and 500+mb for final versions(thank you mega texture)… we all better learn to script like we’re sending a probe to Mars because a half-decent looking map won’t get you a cup of burnt beans in a bucket of crystal.

Offline mapping can be interesting, I did it for a couple of years. All I had was the LDR and default scripts as reference.

Trial and Error, Life and Failure, Maps must be evaluated. C’ya on the flipside.
