I noticed the first objective of Ark is changed. The building on the strogg side is very different and there is a Strogg forward spawn half way between the strogg base and objective. Should actually make Ark attacks a bit easier.

do you think the QWO maps are better or do you think the original ETQW maps are better? It seems to me that I am starting to like the QWO maps better than the ETQW maps though. I wonder how the QWO version of volcano and the final objective looks like?
Or if they did an overhaul of the most hated ETQW map called Quarry.

Movement is the same as vanilla ETQW. Weapon aren’t different at all, reg is hard to judge, it’s p2p. I don’t really have an issue hitting people.

I wouldn’t say one is better than the other, it’s refreshing, though. Especially Salvage. It’s my favourite map on ETQW, and the changes are really nice.

I was wondering if the character models of the GDF and strogg have any difference between classes?
Like how Aggressors are blue, technicians are light blue, constructors are yellow, oppressors are brown, and infiltrators are black.
By looking at some gameplay videos, I see no difference in the strogg character models, as they all seem to look like infiltrators.

Volcano isn’t available in QWO. Only maps are Sewer, Ark, Salvage, Refinery, and Quarry.
Quarry is mostly unmodified. Refinery has an alt ventilation path behind the stroggifier in the smaller room (not the one in the main hall)
Models were redone, especially the faces, to look more Korean. Some of the gear on the models has been modified. There are also purchasable microtransactions for weapon buffs that will alter the look of your character. There are 5 different equippable areas, with 3 or so different models for each area. But more expensive items will up your stats more. GDF get helmets/mask, Strogg get a replacable jaw machine thing.

Altho I have to laugh at GI Joe taking down a Cyclops single-handledly.

That video wasn’t made for the Tourney. It’s been around since the launch of QWO. Pretty sure back on the activision forums there was a thread about it and that exact video with a different title was listed.
