Goldrush truck and tank barriers.

In the stock goldrush map there is no trigger brush used for dynomiting the truck and tank barriers, how is this possible? I looked at the script but for the life of me i couldnt figure it out.

the func_constructible itself can detect dyno-plants. Planting dyno inside the toi is for func_explosives, and RTCW.

Thank you, now heres my second question is there any way i can lower the radius? Cause right now you can plant about 12 feet in every direction from the barrier.

…not sure if the planting radius is tweakable… that would be nice :slight_smile:

An alternative would be to make the outer brushes of the barrier into a seperate script_mover(solid) that you could setstate invis/undercon/default along with the stock func_constructible. That would lower the planting radius, without having to rescale the entire barrier.

But that’s only an option if there isn’t a setting to change it in the first place, never know :stuck_out_tongue:

you can also make the constructable invisible after construction and make a func_explosive visible which has a trigger box that contains the plant field… in the death just kill the constructible…

Huh? I’ve been totally trying for the past 4 hours, but I cant get it to work.
do i just put “setstate (explosive name) default” in the constructible script and then have the explosive have its own script, where i put “setstate (contruction material default” in the death of the explosive?

oh geesh… i started dling… at 95% electricity went kaput… it came back after 30min but net never came back… i tried today, is there any way to ressurect a func_explosive?

Looking at the barriers from goldrush, the Barb wire, the trigger hurt and teeth all have there own scriptname and targetnames, does it matter if they do, or can they all have the same names? I can see why they would but could also see otherwise.
