Is there anything planned for gold cards? Cause if you get the wrong gold card because of RNG, your’re stuck with it for life.

I’d like to be able to reroll my card, or to upgrade it to Cobalt. But still, if we upgrade it to cobalt, and get a shitty loadout, we’re also stuck with it. So a possibility to reroll a loadout in exchange for credits and/or other loadouts could be GREAT.

Gold cards are hard enough to get we should be able to sell cards or trake for exp

It has already been stated by @MissMurder that golds will be able to trade up in the future.

But the problem about that is, even if they add a higher tier, what do you do with the new higher tier cards you don’t want?
I hope we get steam trading in this game…

They have actually already shown a preview with a tier above Cobalt, ‘Elite’ which is red instead of blue.

I think you are referring to Obsidian cards, like the Founder and Beta fighter…loadout cards with a unique skin you will not be able to trade regular case drops into. Future versions of Obsidian cards could be irl money only skins and event skins. All Obsidian cards so far has been a exact copy, augment- and weapon wise, of a standard bronze card.
As for the Steam Trading, I’m dead against (for reasons explained elsewhere), but I would like to see the option of players being able to exchange Obsidian cards of the same tier, like a Beta Fighter for a Beta Fighter or an irl money only skin for an irl money only skin, as long as it is a fair exchange and not decoupled to some kind of ‘economy’.
Doing this also for Silver, Gold and Cobalt would make sense, but I doubt it will happen in the near future.

I was not referring to obsidian, but to something totally unrelated to loadout rarity.

Anyhow! I would be very fond of a method to get rid of any card - no matter if lead, steel, bronze, silver, gold, cobal or eliteultradoublerarewithcherrytopping. I yust want to have those cards out of my loadout.

We can’t trade up Gold to Cobalt, and we can’t trade up Cobalts too. And if we could trade up gold to cobalt it would surely be very expensive : not sure if everyone would do it.
I guess asking for selling cards is fair.

I hope they implement the Hearthstone system where you can disenchant your cards. Which with DB’s system would mean you would break them down to a previous tier. Maybe break down a gold card and get 3 Silvers back or 3 Silver “credits” (so they don’t have to put in a system that remembers what cards you used if it’s not already in place). Or, since it costs 4000 credits to make the Gold, give 4 silvers back but not the credits.
