Go play execution they said, it will be fun...

Not my first time seeing these, DB really need a functional team balance system… I’m aware that it is good practice to play with players better than you, but that was just unplayable.

And that’s why we need some sort of incentive for finishing matches.

Auto balance is just a band aid solution, the root of the problem is people leaving games.

Sure, you can’t punish them as if it’s a competitive match, but with a greater incentive to complete matches, and perhaps a weekly or monthly incentive, you’d see less games like this.

I don’t recall which game was it, but there was a statistical entry visible in your stats. It showed how many times have you left the match without finishing it. It showed like Wins: xxLosses: xx Leaves: xx

Yes it was C&C Generals !

I think this might have a psychological impact on number of people. At least on those who love to grind stats ^^

I had the optimal Execution match yesterday. Join the game, spectate my team for the one round I entered on in an unbalanced match that ends with the other team getting their 7th win, get 500 credits, done with Execution for the day.

(DMaster2) #7

Execution is terribad. I only play it for the daily 500c and only already started games. If i’m lucky i’ll complete it without even playing.

(KorpKyuuSama) #8

I use to like execution…

But the crazy mission spam make me hate it now.

If my team is stomping i tell my team mates to lose same rounds on purpose so we can do the mission faster, and surprise surprise, ppl always agree.

90% of the players hate execution. So to answer to this post. Most ppl leave the match as soon they hit the number of rounds they aiming for. And the ppls start leaving because is a 4v6 or 5v7.

Stop daily execution missions! Or make it like they use to be. Win rounds only.

(RyePanda) #9

It should not be win based. This led to even worse stomping because no one ever wanted to switch to a losing team. It should be xp based and/or they should lower the matches required. 30 is pretty ridiculous.

(Xan) #10

no one said execution is fun

(SaulWolfden) #11

I’ve seen worse in Unbalancedwatch. At least you can’t get spawn killed in Execution.

(Feley) #12

@SamillWong Looking at title… I know it is supposed to be a phrase, but who did ever say: “go play execution” and that it’s going to be fun? lol

I can deal with exp base execution missions but don’t make it like 15.000xp

(LifeupOmega) #14

I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say execution would be fun to play.

(Cesmode) #15

I highly dislike execution as it feels too much like Counterstrike. If I wanted that style of play, Id go play Cstrike.

I also get annoyed when I get missions to play in Execute. Stop encouraging me to play content or mercs that I don’t want to.

(Occult) #16

Ive not played execution once and never plan to, DB>CS

This is pretty much me. I get why SD wanted to make Execution. They wanted to appeal to CS players by giving them something familiar. But most people who play CS will just keep playing CS. I play DB for objective based/spawn wave based gameplay. And moving resources from making maps/creating new content and features for Stopwatch and making a mode that is nothing more than a carrot on a stick for a few people has just never made sense. I just want them to dance with the girl they brought.
