GLM--> to MD3?

(ACROBAT) #1

How can i do this?

I downloaded milkscape and was abl to import the GLM to it, but I don’t see how to export it as an md3?

update: well now i found an export md3 option, but when I try it, I get an error that says can’t find bantha.qc file.

errr

update 2: uhhh I tried exporting it as a .map file, which works apparently.

Is there an advantage to making it a .map instead of a .md3?
I could convert the .map to an .ase file?

What’s the advantages to all of this?

You have to write this qc file with milkshape first.
There’s an option in one of the menus.
You should also edit the automatically written qc file with a text editor.
For examples as default there are 30 frames.
If you have a static object you should try with 1.
Which results in a smaller file size.

heh i added textures and now it wont let me save or export either because it’s not registered. it said there was a 30 days trial period but idk

md3 or ase, same, are better than map

The file I need is in GLM.

I don’t care what is better.
